Summer Bucket List #62: Play at the Park

My friend Hannah and I decided to take her German Shepard mix ,Dozer,  to the dog park. Dozer wasn't to fond of the tires but he did like going through the giant tunnel made of cement. While we were playing at the dog park, we meet this lady and her dog named Biscuit, who just had back surgery. These two guys showed up with there with their pit bulls and Dozer was not happy about that. I don't think the two men were thrilled about Dozer either because they took their two dogs to the other side of the dog park. Then our friend Tabitha showed up with two more dogs. In all I would say it was a very eventful day and I got to cross something off my list. 2 down 66 more to go :)

Summer Bucket List #41: Red Lips

Today I decide to take a trip with my dad to Dollar General. My original mission was to get foundation and as I was looking at the foundation I came across a pretty red tube of Wet N Wild lipstick. As an added bonus I can also cross number 41 off of my bucket list! One down 67 more to go :)

Infinity times Infinity...

That is how many times I am sincerely sorry to my sweet, darling, stylish, bowl of peaches and cream, nana for not being invited to her blog and commenting on it anyway! I am also sorry that I said you have no brain injuries when I really meant no NEW brain injuries! I didn't mean to hurt your feelings but if I did you will be fine! On the plus side, I didn't drag Ole into it also. I very much kept him out of it! I hope you will still come visit me once every year and a half! I promise I will try to be better but I highly doubt that will happen! Nana, Nana, Nana...Just remember you helped raise me! Part of this is your fault and you did start me my blog. That is also your fault! I am super sorry that those people on your blog made me believe that you were dead! I really believed them especially because you didn't answer my phone calls. I got so upset about that piece of information that I dropped my taco from Rositas and as Oscar ate it I gave my dad a little armed hug and cried way down internal but very little. WOW! talk about a series of unfortunate, buzz killing, piece of ish events! Oscar now has a stomach ache the size of Canada due to the tacos. I hope that these events did not damage our friendship...which may or may not have been ruined when you took joeys side when he hit me with a chair! If you would please excuse me, I am headed out on my fun feats now.

Every Summer I decide that I am going to make a buck list and accomplish everything on it. The funny thing is... I never actually accomplish everything on maybe just one or two things. The Perks Of Working At A Library.

I have worked at a library for roughly three months now and I absolutely love it (most of the time anyway). The funny thing about this job is that it was the first job I had applied for and my family constantly reassured me that "most people don't get the job they first applied". Just like most things, I didn't get my hopes up for this one either (just makes things easier). The day of the interview I was so nervous. I walked in through the front doors of the library and straight up to the front desk. They handed me a paper with the job description and some other papers to fill out. I sat in a chair furthest back from the front desk. One of the three women came out and got me from where I had been sitting. They asked me several questions and they told me that they were impressed with my resume for a first time interviewee. :)
When I got the call that I had got the job I couldn't believe it! I was so ecstatic. Before I could start though I had to go to the city office to talk to the human resources lady. I had to fill out a bunch more papers and watch two training videos before heading to the library for my first shift there. My boss ,Deb, greeted me that day and introduced me to every that works there. Then she spent a couple hours walking me through every and I mean EVERY thing at that library. Talk about being overwhelmed! I consider myself very blessed to have this job. There are so many great things about working at a library.

• I make more than minimum wage so that's a huge plus :)
• I have the MOST amazing co-workers.
• I can check out books and not get charged late fees!
• I get to work with one of my best friends from last summer. We have days were we do say some of the stupidest things but it is always a great time. 
• I'm starting to grow attracted to some of the little kids there. 
• I got to wear this AWES0ME name tag :)

• I <3 food.  The only thing that would be better than food is being able to eat it without gaining weight:)
• Netflix is probably the greatest thing every invented.
• My family members are the greatest people alive.
• My sister has become my best friend. 
• I have a 12 year old dachshund named Oscar <3
• My beagle of 16 years died about 2 years ago. That was probably the hardest thing to go through and I miss her everyday. Not a day goes by where I don't think about her.
